Lawn Care: Questions & Answers

Q. It was dry enough to use an aerator attachment on my garden tractor and now I have a lot of holes all over the lawn which look unsightly. What should I do next?

A. If you have ever looked at a bowling or golf green after spiking and aerating you’ll notice the holes have been filled. For your lawn a good mix of sharp sand and loam brushed in will fill the holes and help to promote new growth and an attractive and healthy lawn.
