Lawn Care: Questions and Answers

Q. I have a large lawn with many trees and the clearing of autumn leaves is a real task. Have you any tips on making the work easier?

A. Do you have a garden tractor with a sweeper/collector? If so you can go over the lawn just sweeping up the leaves into the collector. Or use a powerful leaf blower – you need power to move damp and wet leaves. You could also consider a blower vacuum which will collect and mulch the leaves ready for the compost heap.
