Lawn Care: Questions and Answers

Q. How do I know when the lawn has been watered enough?
A. Use a sprinkler once a week and put an open jam jar on the lawn. Let the sprinkler run until the jar contains 13mm (0.5in) of water. That tells you enough water has reached the roots without wastage.
