Lawn Care: Questions & Answers

Q.  I have identified yarrow weed in my lawn, how do I treat it? 

A. Yarrow is a common weed and mowing helps prevent it seeding but it also spreads underground stems. Choose a herbicide with 2,4-D, MCPA with dicamba or Mecoprop-P. Never use glyphosate on the lawn, it kills grass as well.
