Lawn Care: Questions & Answers

Q. The lawn has become greener after the dry spells but it’s patchy in lots of places, some of it in rings. What can I do to get it lush?

A. Lawns can be weakened by poor conditions encouraging weeds, moss and ‘fairy rings’ or fungi. Scarify, aerate and spike and use a weed and feed to fertilise – this is the last month to use a lawn weedkiller.
