Lawn Care: Questions & Answers

Q. Mole damage has left my lawn with hollows in places. What should I do to even it up and get it level?


A.
You can top dress the areas with a mix of 3 parts soil, 6 parts sharp/horticultural sand, 1 part compost applied at a rate of 3 to 4 kilos per metre but leave 75% of the grass leaf exposed.
