Lawn Care: Questions & Answers

Q. I have to let my dog out on the lawn and dog urine causes brown patches to appear. Is there anything I can do about it?

A. A common problem. You can deal with it by pouring water on the area immediately the dog has urinated. There is also a natural product called ‘Dog Rocks’ which you put in the dog’s water bowl and it filters out the impurities in dog urine which burn the grass.

    Use an organic, slow-release fertilizer to feed your lawn and the soil. These materials break down slowly, feeding your grass over a longer period of time.
